Submitting your Artwork

Your artwork

To produce your customised display systems, digital prints and 3D letters we need you to provide us with final printable files that meet the relevant product requirements. Under the ‘Downloads’ tab you will find the relevant data sheets with all important information on each type of print file. Should you have any further questions about preparing your artwork, do not hesitate to call your personal contact (please see your PO for contact details) or our general pre-press department. To enable us to promptly produce your order, please follow the relevant data specifications as precisely as possible. Should you be unable to submit any artwork, we will gladly assist you with our customised artwork design service charged on an hourly basis or as an all-inclusive my Graphic Design Service.

The data check

All products include our complimentary standard data check. Your artwork will be opened and viewed by a pre-press graphic designer and checked for basic printability. In the event of an issue with your artwork, your contact person will notify you by e-mail. The standard data check may also reveal serious mistakes or inconsistencies although this is not guaranteed. To be more confident that such issues do not exist, we recommend our XL data check. This includes a more thorough review of your print file with a final evaluation provided by e-mail. Everything is manually checked and reviewed by your personal contact person. The XL data check also guarantees that your prints are free from errors resulting from erroneous files. Should you opt for the XL data check, we assume responsibility for any such errors. As an extra bonus, the premium data check includes an original DIN A4 press proof of your artwork in production resolution, produced on the original medium and the printer to subsequently be used. The standard data check is a free service that does not give rise to any liability on our part. We cannot guarantee that your artwork will be free of errors following the standard data check.

Basic information on how to deliver your artwork

Once you have successfully placed an order, you may send us the artwork for every printable item. Please only send us clearly labelled, final print files (no layout data, raw data or preview data) and ensure that these comply with the relevant data sheet specifications for the product. We do not accept any complaints due to erroneous digital prints caused by insufficiently labelled or erroneous print files. The same applies for already printed, complete layout data. Please only upload one distinct data set and avoid uploading the same or very similar files several times. In the case of multiple files that we cannot assign, if we cannot reach you we will select the most suitable print file to the best of our knowledge. In this case, subsequent complaints due to the use of the wrong print files will not be accepted. It must always be possible to assign your print data to the relevant product.

Data upload (recommended)

After successfully completing your order, you can immediately upload your artwork to our server. Simply click the large button on the final page of the order process or in your order confirmation e-mail. You will be directed to the section "My account > Uploads". After logging in to your Mydisplays account select the relevant product from the current order at the top of the list and upload one of ten possible files per item. The file size is limited to 200 MB per file. You can upload the following data formats: ZIP, PDF, RAR, TIF, AI, EPS and JPG. We recommend the use of PDF files. Once the upload is complete you can re-open and check most of the files. It is also possible to delete data.

FTP upload

Delivery via e-mail

Please attach all files to one or more e-mails. When sending multiple e-mails, please use consecutive numbers if necessary. Please include your MYXXXXXX order number, your company name and, if possible, the direct contact person for any queries in your e-mail. Please do not send files that exceed 20 MB per e-mail. Please exclusively send your artwork to: [email protected]

Data delivery via Wetransfer

You may also send us your artwork via Wetransfer. Please select [email protected] as the target address and enter your MYXXXXXX order number together with your company name into the message field.
